Over at French Toast Sunday the podcasters have recorded a special edition, focussing on the films they love and why they love them.

Up for discussion were Sleepless In Seattle, Pulp Fiction, Jurassic Park, Dr Strangelove, Dazed And Confused, Inception, The Social Network, Drive and The Breakfast Club to name a few…

Attacking the brief from different angles, the podcasters also discussed directors and the impact they make on their films from David Lynch to Alfonso Cuaron.

Movies that surprise us, movies that are more than the sum of their parts, movies that tell stories in unexpected ways and movies that make us feel… all of these themes and more were mulled over by the film buffs.

It’s a great episode and I hope you all hop on over to French Toast Sunday to check out their passion for films.

I’d like to say a big thank you to the contributors over at French Toast Sunday for taking part in my humble blog series. They run a great website, so don’t forget to check it out.

If you would like to contribute a post to this series and share some of the reasons you love your favourite film, please take a look at my launch post here and get in touch. I’d love to hear from you.

You can find all of the posts in this series here. As this series grows I hope it will work as an homage to everything the blogging community loves about cinema.
